Welcome to the Thoms Lab!
We are an interdisciplinary team focussing on Molecular Medicine, Cell Biology and Biochemistry at the newly founded Medical School OWL of Bielefeld University.
Our main research interests are cell organelles (peroxisomes and the T-tubule system) as well as translational readthrough and the improvement of readthrough-based therapies for rare diseases.
