Shaping together
In the field of co-design, we provide an insight into the development of solutions that are created not for, but together with, the people who will eventually use them. Users, medical and care professionals, and other stakeholders are integrated into the development process at an early stage. This leads to ideas and solutions that are practical, relevant and sustainable.
The co-design approach is based on dialogue and openness. Through workshops, tests and interactive sessions, requirements are identified, perspectives are brought together and concepts are continuously refined. The focus is not only on functionality, but also on acceptance, usability and genuine added value in everyday life.
In the showroom, we use selected examples to demonstrate how co-design is applied in the development of interactive assistive technologies.

Flobi and Floka
Insights into the development history and current research with CITEC's anthropomorphic robot head will be given.
Evening ritual pepper
There will be insights into the co-design of a support for the
evening routine in paediatric and adolescent psychiatry, in which Pepper tells stories. The project follows an agile participatory development approach in which clinical staff, patients and developers jointly design the behaviour of robots
