Commitment to professional politics
Prof Tina Lonsdorf is actively involved in professional politics and has been the spokesperson for the Biological Psychology and Neuropsychology section of the German Psychological Society (DGPs) since 2023. In this role, she represents the interests of the discipline at a national level and helps to shape the strategic direction of biological psychology and neuropsychology.
Dr Alina Koppold is also involved in professional politics as a young member representative of the DGPs section. In this role, she advocates for the perspectives and needs of early career researchers, helps to ensure that they are represented in disciplinary decision-making processes and supports initiatives that are relevant to career development and academic training.
