Prerequisities

Brief Description

The Bachelor Colloquium on marketing serves as preparation for a Bachelor's thesis at the Chair of Business Administration, esp. Marketing. In this course, students are introduced to scientific work and literature research and develop their own research question for the Bachelor's thesis within the framework of the specified main topics and critically examine it. To this end, both the basic literature and articles from current research (e.g. Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Marketing Science, Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, International Journal of Research in Marketing, Marketing Letters) are systematically compared and objectively analyzed using a suitable framework. Only literature sources are used as a basis for working on the topics; an empirical study is not planned as part of the Bachelor Colloquium.
