March 2-13, 2026
The Quantifying and Managing Uncertainty (QUAMU) at Bielefeld University is an interdisciplinary initiative designed to develop innovative methods for addressing persistent uncertainty in areas such as financial crises, climate change, and public health. Taking place in March 2026, the Focus Group brings together international scholars and local researchers from fields including economics, mathematics, data science, sports science, and psychology. By synthesizing diverse perspectives through keynote lectures and panel discussions, the initiative aims to foster new collaborations and lay the groundwork for future long-term research projects. The conference will take place at the Center for Interdisciplinary Research (ZiF).
