We use your data for: Registration and organisation of an event

The data is used to plan the event "Orientation Days" of the International Student Services Center (ISSC) based on the questions and interests of the participants. It is also used to contact the participants about organisational issues related to the event (rooms, etc.).

Processing shall be lawful if you have given your consent in accordance with Article 6 para. 1 (a) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 

The data will be passed on to the third-party funding provider "Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst"

Purpose of data transfer: anonymised statistical evaluation

All personal data will be stored on specially secured systems of Bielefeld University for the duration of 3 years  and then deleted or anonymised in accordance with data protection regulations.

You can assert the rights granted to you by the EU GDPR (request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, withdrawal of consent, object to processing, data transfer) against the person responsible for this website.
