Students seeking to enhance their international profile can go abroad on a research visit, for example to prepare their bachelor or master thesis. PhD students can also go abroad to carry out active research and acquire additional academic qualifications within the framework of their PhD.

The International Office (Weltbüro) can offer advice and answer questions with regard to organization and financial support.

Mobility Scholarships for Postdoctoral Students

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers Postdoc scholarships in all disciplines to finance research trips abroad; duration 3–24 months
