Study preparation for refugees

Bielefeld University

You have already studied in your home country and wish to continue your studies here in Germany? You ask yourself if your school-leaving certificate enables you to study at a German University?

In this case the Refugee Counselling team is your first contact at Bielefeld University: we offer initial counselling and inform you concerning study options.

Counselling

(Prospective) students with a refugee background are welcomed at our Service Desk at the Infopunkt International (A0-307) from Monday to Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Additionally, we offer online office hours for (prospective) students via Zoom on Monday and Friday from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. (You will be admitted from the Zoom waiting room as soon as it is your turn).

In addition, there is the possibility to get advice in Russian directly on site at the Infopunkt International or online via Zoom. Please contact welcome@uni-bielefeld.de to make an appointment for counselling in Russian.
