Study preparation for refugees

Bielefeld University

You have already studied in your home country and wish to continue your studies here in Germany? You ask yourself if your school-leaving certificate enables you to study at a German University?

In this case the Refugee Counselling team is your first contact at Bielefeld University: we offer initial counselling and inform you concerning study options.

Counseling

(Prospective) students with a refugee background are welcome at our Service Desk at the Infopunkt.international (main University building) from Monday to Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Additionally, we offer online office hours for (prospective) students via Zoom on Wednesdays from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m.:
