Dr. Nils Reschke | 06.11. - 08.11.2024 | 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM | online
This online workshop is designed as a comprehensive introduction for PhD students of all disciplines with a specific focus on project and time management skills for the PhD project. Participants learn to set smart goals, structure their own projects, and manage them by using relevant manage-ment tools – from master plans for the entire project to week and day plans.
The two first days focus on mid-term project planning (3-6 months), day three on reflecting one´s own time management type and on organizing time on weekly and daily level. In this context participants reflect on their individual working style, learn how to deal with setbacks and with losses of motivation in the long run.
The workshop´s methods range from trainer input to individual project planning, group works and plenum discussions. The course is completed by a Q+A-session where participants profit from sharing their experiences with peers and with the trainer. All in all, our approach is to demystify the process of a doctorate by seeing it manageable.
