JOIN A BLENDED INTENSIVE PROGRAMME

FOR PROFESSIONAL PEDAGOGICAL DEVELOPMENT OF ACADEMICS AND EXPERT STAFF

Developed jointly by Örebro University, University of Ostrava, Bielefeld University, University of Tours and University of Salerno

This interactive course invites teachers from universities both within and outside the NEOLAiA alliance to meet in an international and interdisciplinary academic
environment to share experiences and practices. Together with others you will explore a range of topics relevant for teaching and learning in higher education.
The course focuses on five themes: Internationalisation, Student-active teaching and digitalisation, Accessible teaching, AI in Higher Education and Sustainability and equality.
As a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) the course consists of digital and on-site activities: it includes 5 webinars and an on-site week at Örebro University, Sweden. Participants will apply for ERASMUS+ staff mobility funding at their home university to take part in the on-site week. A course certificate will be issued after satisfactory completion of the course.

The course schedule – Spring/Summer term 2026

• Webinar 1: Monday 27 April, 16:00-17:30: Internationalisation
• Webinar 2: Monday 4 May, 16:00-17:30: Student-active teaching and digitalisation
• Webinar 3: Monday 12 May, 16:00-17:30: Accessible teaching
• Webinar 4: Monday 18 May, 16:00-17:30: AI in Higher Education
• Webinar 5: Tuesday 26 May, 16:00-17:30: Sustainability and equality

Mandatory on-site week (5 working days): Monday June 8 – Friday June 12 at Örebro University, Sweden.

To complete the course and get the certificate the participants need to attend at least 80 % of the online webinars (4 out of 5) and the full on-site week.
