This hands-on workshop supports PhD candidates who have decided or might decide to write a thesis by publication.
First, we discuss forms, benefits and challenges of writing a thesis by publication.
Transferring this to your own project, you can choose to set up, or revisit, your overall research plan, and to work with various strategies to organise your research ideas. In addition, you can start, or continue, to work on your current writing project, e.g., your research proposal, paper, abstract, introduction, etc.
To wrap it all up, you do a reality check to see how you can organise your time, energy resources, and writing project so you will finish it successfully, and on time.

Dr. Vera Leberecht (Maastricht/NL) studied Linguistics, Intercultural Communication and Theology in Germany and Finland. She worked at Maastricht University Language Centre for several years before starting her own training and consulting business in 2008. She is enthusiastic about empowering professionals to communicate with reason and resonance, in academia and beyond.
