Description
Junior professors with and without tenure track and tenure-track professors experience the interim and final evaluation as an exhausting feat that consumes a lot of time and energy resources. Even if there is concrete, generally applicable (procedural) information, it is challenging to find the balance between actual and imagined requirements - because constructive exchange with other professors is often difficult in this phase due to collegial competition, bias or role confusion.
Professors who want to successfully master the interim and final evaluation phase need
a very good requirements management,
an individual (self-strengthening) strategy that works even in stressful situations,
a well-developed project management roadmap including Plan B,
goal-oriented patience with themselves, the other process participants and the organisation, and
staying power.
In this workshop / in individual coaching sessions, we will jointly develop, reflect on and examine concrete options for action in order to successfully combine interim and final evaluation goals with your own positioning goals, to recognise, analyse and successfully overcome internal and external stress factors and, in all of this, not to lose the joy of substantive academic work in research, teaching and management.
