Bielefeld University has four permanent university commissions which prepare the resolutions of the Senate and advise the Rectorate (§ 17 of Bielefeld University's constitution):
The UEKo is responsible for preparing resolutions and advising the Senate and Rectorate, in particular for tasks relating to university development (structure, information technology, planning and construction matters, international affairs).
