With the beginning of summer term 2018 and until the end of the year the BGHS celebrates its 10th anniversary with a variety of different events. From 30 November till 1 December we will celebrate 10 Years of BGHS within a conference to the topic Graduate Training of Young Scholars in Germany. Responsibility for the Future and an anniversary party.
From 2009 to 2019, an international meeting of doctoral researchers was conceived and organized every year, the BGHS Annual Seminar. It was aimed primarily at young researchers from all over the world. A team of BGHS' Doctoral Reseachers organized the Annual Seminar on a topic of their own choice and hosted it independently with the support of staff from the office.
The three-day conferences promoted scientific exchange between disciplines through their interdisciplinary format and provided an international platform for the presentation of ongoing research projects. The discussion of the research projects was framed by lectures by renowned keynote speakers from Germany and abroad.
