Company Excursion to Schüco (summer term 2026)
The BGTS is planning a company excursion to Schüco. The excursion offers the opportunity to learn more about the company and its products, as well as to gain insights into possible career paths beyond academia and the application of skills from theoretical sciences in an industrial context.

Please note that your registration is binding. If you are unable to attend after registering, please cancel your registration as soon as possible. - An English-language tour is possible if requested during registration.
- Participation is limited to 20 registered participants and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Insights into technology and career perspectives
The BGTS is planning a company excursion to Beckhoff Automation in Verl, open to all interested PhD students. The excursion offers a chance to learn about the company's technological developments and gain insights into possible career paths outside academia.
Programme overview
- Company presentation & technology showcase: Introduction to Beckhoff’s work and innovations, presented by technical staff in the company’s showroom.
- Career perspectives: A representative from the HR department will provide information on career options at Beckhoff.
- Visit to circuit board production (Leiterplattenproduktion): A guided tour of the in-house cb production.

Please note that your registration is binding. - The event will be held in German; an English-language tour is possible if requested during registration.
- The excursion will take place only if at least 10 participants register. Participation is limited to those who have registered in advance. A person will be on site to check registrations.
- The tour is not wheelchair accessible.
- We plan to travel by public transport; further information will be shared in due course.
