Uncertainty has an impact on almost all aspects of human life. For a long time, it has been viewed as an omnipresent threat that needs to be controlled and kept in check. In contrast, the goal of the interdisciplinary Center for Uncertainty Studies (CeUS) is to broaden the view and put research on uncertainty on a wider foundation. CeUS integrates various projects, initiatives and lecture series such as the "Uncertainty Talks" and thus creates a platform for a large number of international researchers from a wide range of disciplines.
