The faculty is organized into eight working groups covering the most important public health sectors.

The main focus of research in AG 6 is the management of chronic illness and the need for long-term care as well as health problems in old age and the associated challenges for health care and the consequences for the further development of care. Part of the working group is also the Institute for Nursing Science (IPW).
