While listening (via headphones) and seeing stimuli, the participant’s reaction/decision is measured by button press or spoken response via a voice key.
A button box with three bounce-free short-stroke buttons: the internal hardware with a precise timer provides an accuracy of measurement about 2 ms. The data is then sent to the computer via USB for further processing.

With a latency of two seconds, a perceived word causes a skin conductance response (SCR) depending on the individual affective load.
The skin conductance response (SCR) is recorded via two electrodes on the palm of the subdominant hand while the subject is relaxed and not exposed to any external noise.
