To promote research activities in the outpatient sector and to strengthen outpatient care, we are currently establishing a network for research practices. For this purpose, Medical School OWL would like to include not only general practitioners' practices but also medical practices from other disciplines in the network and encourage them to participate.
What is the goal of the network of research practices?
For you as a physician in a private practice and your practice teams, participation in the network and in research projects of the Medical School OWL and the University Hospital (UK OWL) offers the possibility of close scientific cooperation as well as networking between the practices.
What can you expect?
You can actively contribute research ideas from everyday care, point out research gaps and implement joint research projects.
The research results should be incorporated into the daily practice routine, have a benefit to the physician in private practice and contribute to improving patient care.
Research in the outpatient sector includes a wide range of qualitative and quantitative as well as epidemiological, clinical and health economic studies and ranges from smaller questionnaires to intervention studies lasting several years.
For practices interested in research, there will thus be numerous opportunities for cooperation with Bielefeld University in the coming years.
