We use qualitative and quantitative care science methods to investigate the significance, benefits and challenges of person-centred care for people with disabilities and chronic illnesses. The focus of the working group is on chronic skin diseases.
The central questions of the research group are: What is the level of impairment, quality of life and perceived stigmatisation of patients? How is the participation of those affected organised? What needs do people with disabilities and chronic illnesses have in terms of medical care? What are the care pathways for those affected? What role does digital medicine play in this context?
