Third-party funding management

The Department of Research and Career Development offers services and support in the acquisition and implementation of third-party funded projects

The services offered by third-party funding management include

  • Information and advice on the faculty's own funding programmes, e.g. the Medical Research Start-up Fund
  • Examination of formal application requirements, preparation and examination of financing plans
  • Obtaining the necessary approvals from departments, Faculties and committees
  • Project budget monitoring, providing information on the availability of funds and advising on planned changes to the project
  • Preparing calls for funding and proof of utilisation
  • Deadline monitoring and informing project management
