The Research Infrastructure Advisory Board was established to advise and support the planning process for the design of the medical research infrastructure. The Advisory Board consists of external experts on various topics in the field of research infrastructure.

- Prof Dr Thomas Illig (Hannover Medical School, Head of Biobank & Deputy Spokesperson of the German Biobanks)
- Dr Martin Meier (Hannover Medical School, Head of Small Animal Imaging (MRI, µCT, FMT, ultrasound))
- Prof Dr Andreas Pich (Hannover Medical School, Head of the Core Facility Proteomics)
