Heinz Maier-Leibnitz-Preis for Dr. Isabel Oldengott

Isabel Oldengott has received the renowned Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Prize from the German Research Foundation (DFG), with a prize sum of 200,000 Euros. Isabel Oldengott was awarded the prize for her theoretical work in the field of particle physics and cosmology, particularly for her research on the phenomenon of disappearing antimatter.
 

Wübben Stiftung for Prof. Gert Aarts

Gert Aarts has successfully secured nearly 1.6 million euros from the Wübben Stiftung Wissenschaft for an Advanced Professorship. The funding is intended to establish his research group in Theoretical High Energy Physics starting in autumn 2026, with a focus on lattice field theory and artificial intelligence.
