The subject-specific Bachelor's degree in Physics is admission-free. From the winter semester 2011/2012, however, the Educational Science component has university-wide admission restrictions for all students in the teaching profession(regardless of the other subjects), which therefore also affects the teaching profession in Physics.

You can live from 250 euros (in a cheap hall of residence), from 290 euros in shared flats (if you are prepared to travel a little further to the university), most rooms are between 330 and 430 euros (warm incl. electricity/telephone/internet). As a first semester student at the first breakfastyou do not have to take care of this yourself beforehand. If there are still problems in higher semesters, simply contact the student counselling service. To browse and enter your courses, you can use the electronically annotated course catalogue.

In the sense of an industrial internship: No. The internships referred to as "practical" in the curriculum are laboratory and experimental internships in which physical experiments are carried out and analysed.

All courses that are comparable to ours in terms of content and scope are actually recognised. Recognition itself is a case-by-case decision that is made by our dean of studies and the examination office. If ECTS points are recognised for the course, this makes recognition somewhat easier.
