About Me
After studying psychology at Bielefeld University, I moved to Psychologische Hochschule Berlin in 2023, where I have been working as a research assistant at the Chair of Developmental, Educational and Family Psychology ever since. I have also been a member of the Applied Social Psychology and Gender Research working group since 2024.
During my studies, my research interest was already in the field of sexual aggression, where I investigated victim blaming in rape cases. The topic of sexual aggression continued to interest me due to its high socio-political relevance and I am currently doing my PHD in cooperation with Bielefeld University in the ALFA (Aggression Related Fantasies) project, which is based at Psychologische Hochschule Berlin. Specifically, my PHD deals with aggressive sexual fantasies and their effect as a risk factor for sexually aggressive behavior. In this context, I am also investigating the influence of attitude-based variables such as hostile masculinity, as I consider their effect to be particularly meaningful, especially when thinking in terms of preventive measures.
