- DAAD [German Academic Exchange Service] / PROMOS partial grants
The DAAD [German Academic Exchange Service] mobility programme sponsors short-term stays abroad worldwide with funds from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). PROMOS is intended to contribute to increasing mobility.
Partial scholarships in the DAAD/PROMOS mobility programme, awarded by the International Office of Bielefeld University. Funding is available for stays abroad of up to six months outside the Erasmus area for
- Studies (3 - 6 months)
- Thesis or research stay (6 weeks to 6 months)
- Internship (6 weeks to 6 months)
Application deadlines for 2025:
- 15 November 2024 - funding from January 2025
- 31 May 2025 - funding from July 2025
Information on funding and application via the Mobility Online portal can be found in the call for applications. The portal will be activated 4 weeks before the application deadline.
