  • Current semester certificate or admission letter for a study course at Bielefeld University

  • Motivation letter
  • Copy of previous degrees or studies (school / University) or current Transcript of Records
  • Copy of the residence permit
  • Proof of BAföG application or decision (confirmation or rejection)
  • Positive letter of recommendation from a University teacher (4th semester onwards)
  • If available evidence of social commitment

 

How to write a motivation letter:

1. What do you want to achieve with your studies?
2. What would change for you if you received the scholarship?
3. Is there anything else we should know about you (e.g. social engagement, volunteering)?
