Information

As part of the programme NRWege in Studium - Integration of Refugees at Universities in NRW, Bielefeld University awards scholarships to students with a refugee background whose entry to Germany was no longer than five years ago. These grants are intended to support qualified students in every phase of their studies and to promote their success at Bielefeld University.

Our goal is to support you successfully when you start your studies and during your studies.

Scholarship

The scholarship supports achievement-oriented students during their studies. The scholarships are awarded exclusively to students with refugee backgrounds who entered Germany no longer than five years ago, who have no other possibility of securing their living, and who meet the requirements to successfully complete a course of study.

Amount of funding: max. 934 euros per month
Funding period: up to one year

Application NRWege scholarship

The application for the scholarship "NRWege ins Studium" will be possible again for the coming winter semester 2023/24.
