Welcome - students' support for refugees

Since 2015, students at Bielefeld University have been committed to integrating refugee applicants and students into their studies and everyday life at the university. From the very beginning, the student initiatives have worked closely with the responsible institutions, especially the International Office.

Those initiatives are part of the DAAD-Welcome-project and an integral element of the support and integration concept:

  1. Schreibwerkstatt: Study preparation and study entry
  2. Lernwerkstatt: Language support for the DSH-/TestDaF preparation
