Bielefeld University offers a career and personnel development programme tailored to the needs of professors with workshops and collegial exchange formats. Professors can gain further qualifications on topics such as chair management, conflict resolution and good supervision in scientifically sound, compact events with small groups of participants and individualised scheduling.
There are target group-specific programmes for junior professors and tenure track professors, newly appointed professors, professors and deans.
In addition, professors at Bielefeld University have the opportunity to contact the counselling centre for managers and employees of Bielefeld University. Here you can discuss challenging issues from your day-to-day work and personal (psychological) stress situations in a confidential setting. You will also receive support for your working groups and teams in overcoming breakdowns in cooperation and conflicts, as well as counselling on issues relating to leadership.
For your individual leadership issues, we also offer you support through individual coaching sessions. We will be happy to put you in touch with external coaches.
