Description
Participation in the "annual group collegial counselling" enables you to
- ongoing, solution-oriented reflection on your (leadership) roles as a professor and the associated challenges in research, teaching, management and staff leadership
- Appreciative perspective on your own work and ongoing support through collegial support
- Reflection on implicit and explicit power relations and positioning requirements in the system of academia, with special consideration of gender and diversity issues
- deepened knowledge of the structures, implicit and explicit hierarchies, processes, competences and responsibilities in the university organisation
- Expansion of your collegial network of female professors and colleagues at the University of Bielefeld
Within the framework of the moderated exchange, you can introduce topics in the form of concrete situations and questions from your everyday work and learn a variety of methods for analysing and solving concrete cases from your everyday work as a professor and for dealing with joint or individual leadership or positioning concerns.
The group works together on the basis of a confidentiality agreement under the guidance of an experienced systemic consultant and coach for one year.
In the history of this year, you will expand your knowledge in the areas of "leadership strategies" "communication techniques", "resilience and health", and "diversity management", among others, and use the opportunity for personal, interdisciplinary networking.
The target group is female leaders in science: professors (incl. junior professors, professors with tenure track).
