Welcome to ViSiB
Every year, numerous students and visiting academics come to Bielefeld from abroad to study, teach, research and immerse themselves in a new culture. We at ViSiB have been a point of contact for newcomers to Bielefeld since 1985 and support them in all matters relating to arriving and settling in at the universities and in the city, as well as in emergency situations.
Latest news
The annual ViSiB summer party took place on 11 June 2025. As part of the event, the ViSiB Award was given to two students and the lecture "Globally networked: opportunities and challenges in international alumni work" was held.
