In case of emergencies
Sometimes you find yourself in a financial emergency sooner than you think. If this happens to you and other help is not available to you in time or at all, you are welcome to contact us. We will discuss your situation in a personal meeting.
(Short-term) Scholarships
Bielefeld University and Fachhochschule Bielefeld, in cooperation with ViSiB, award (short-term) scholarships to international students who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement and/or social commitment in addition to their studies.
The following scholarship programs were/are awarded to international students:
- ViSiB-Böllhoff scholarship for international students at the University of Applied Sciences
- ViSiB-Leffers scholarship for international students at Bielefeld University
- Graduation scholarships, for students in the phase shortly before the BA/MA degree or state examination (in cooperation with the International Office of the University and University of Applied Sciences).
Application period:
The calls for applications take place once a year. You can find them here or on the page of the International Office of the University and the University of Applied Sciences.
