ViSiB Award

The Association for the Support of International Students in Bielefeld e.V. has the task of supporting international students at Bielefeld University and Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences during their stay and thus contributing to a positive study experience in Bielefeld.
In recognition of academic achievements and social/intercultural commitment of international students at Bielefeld University, the association awards an annual prize of 750 euros.
The award is made on the recommendation of third parties (teaching staff, lecturers, etc.). In addition to the above criteria, candidates should currently be enrolled at Bielefeld University or Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences with the aim of obtaining a degree.
The ViSiB Prize is presented at a ceremony during the association's summer party.
The call for applications takes place once a year. The application deadlines are announced by the two universities.
