The Centre’s members are engaged in various faculties and research institutions at Bielefeld University and other universities. At present, the center unites approximately 100 scientists from various university status groups. Members from other universities and research institutions can apply for associate membership at the Centre.

Thematic focus areas facilitate activities and scientific exchange.

The executive board, elected for a two-year term at the General Assembly, includes four researchers from the Centre (and their deputies), one technical and administrative staff member, and one student. The board is supported by the management team.

Membership

Members of the Centre for Childhood and Youth Studies include professors, academic staff, technical and administrative staff, doctoral candidates and students involved in the Centre’s activities. Researchers from faculties and institutions of Bielefeld University can become members. Interested external individuals can become associate members. Membership (including associate membership) is granted upon application and is decided by the Executive Board.
