Additional information:
We have received many inquiries asking whether the two programs—the M.Sc. in Applied Psychology: Diagnostics, Counseling & Training and M.Sc. in Psychology - Experimental Psychology and Neuroscience qualify students for training as psychological psychotherapists under the old Medical Licensing Act. According to the State Examination Office for Medicine, Psychotherapy, and Pharmacy in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), the two programs mentioned do not qualify students for psychotherapy training under the old Medical Licensing Act.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Service Office (Examinations Office, Academic Advising office, Student Advising Service). We look forward to hearing from you.
