NEOLAiA offers students unique opportunities for international networking and personal development. With exchange programmes, joint degree programmes and digital learning platforms, they can study across national and subject boundaries. Offers for students
- Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP)
A Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) is a structured, short-term, financially supported mobility abroad that is integrated into the curriculum, at least via the individual subsidiary subjects (free elective area). It is developed and implemented by at least three higher education institutions from at least three EU member states and third countries associated with the programme. It is an excellent way of gaining (initial) international study experience and improving your language skills.
A BIP consists of a virtual and a physical component: Students from the different universities work together the whole time. The highlight is the joint physical phase on site, which lasts at least 5 days.You can find out more about BIPs in the NEOLAiA context here.
- Focus Academy
A Focus Academy is a specially designed Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) within the framework of the European University Alliance "NEOLAiA". It is a structured, short-term, financially supported international mobility programme that is integrated into the curriculum, at least via the individual subsidiary subjects (free elective area). It is developed and implemented by at least three higher education institutions from at least three EU member states and third countries associated with the programme. A Focus Academy is an excellent way of gaining (initial) international study experience and improving your language skills. It consists of a virtual and a physical component: Students from the different universities work together the whole time. The highlight is the joint physical phase on site, which lasts at least 5 days.

The NEOLAiA Alliance strives to support doctoral and postdoctoral researchers in developing their careers by providing up-to-date information for mobility, exchange and training opportunities, mentoring programmes, workshops and tools to promote the NEOLAiA network for early career researchers. - Traineeships
NEOLAiA offers students the opportunity to participate in internships abroad, gaining valuable work experience and immersing themselves in a new culture. These experiences help to improve language skills and broaden perspectives, which improves employability after graduation. More information about the traineeships can be found here.
