Accommodation

 

By request, Bielefeld University can arrange your accommodation for you. There are single rooms available in student halls of residence as well as rooms with guest families. All accommodation are located centrally and well connected by metro/tram and bus.

 

The rent for a room in the student halls of residence is about 300 - 450 Euro (Depending on the equipment), and for a room staying with a guest family it is 300 Euro plus 50 Euro deposit. The deposit can be reimbursed at the end of the course.

 

Lodgings do not include meals, though every room has its own kitchen or provides access to a communal kitchen. If you stay with a host family, you share the kitchen and bathroom with the family.

Budget meals are available at the canteen and cafeterias of Bielefeld University. Course participants will be given a card for the university canteen, with which they can eat there from Monday to Friday afternoons at student prices.
