Preparatory German language course for refugees: Application form

Notes for your application

  • The course is offered by the German language centre PunktUm at Bielefeld University.
  • The course starts on 2 September 2024 and is free of charge. Only the social fee is charged for enrolment.
  • The course is aimed at prospective students with a refugee background who arrived in Germany less than 5 years ago.
  • If you have any questions about the application, please come to our Zoom student consulting hours - Mondays and Thursdays 11:00 to 13:00 - or send us an email to

Processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract or the preparatory steps to enter into a contract. If the data is not provided by the data subject, such refusal may make it impossible for the University to conclude the contract.
