The Library Service Centre (BDZ) offers interdisciplinary information, training programmes and consulting on using the library as well as services relating to digital services, inter-library loan departments, loan accounts and library cards.

Rules of behaviour - do's and don'ts

The Library Service Centre (BDZ) offers a quiet working atmosphere for all users. Here you can work alone or together with others. Please observe the following basic rules:

What can I take with me?

  • You can bring drinks in resealable bottles and drink from them - alcohol or drinks in open coffee cups or cans are taboo.
  • Food is generally not allowed in the library - the reading food must be sufficient.
  • You are welcome to take your jackets and rucksacks into the library. Anything you do not need can be stored in our lockers outside the library.

 

Talking - yes or no?

  • As a general rule, please be considerate of other library visitors and keep as quiet as possible.
  • Quiet conversations are permitted if there are several of you.
  • Please do not make phone calls in the library; switch your mobile phones to silent or vibrate.
