Further information and advice

Information and advice on data protection and practical questions concerning research data management, participant information and declaration of consent are available from the Competence Centre for Research Data, the Data Protection and Information Safety Coordinators of the Deparment of Psychology and the School of Public Health.

Templates for participant information, data protection information and consent forms are available on request from the office of the Ethics Committee and from the Competence Centre for Research Data.
Please note that the documents for informing participants can also be generated using the Ethiktool (ethiktool.org). The information (part 1 of the template) and the consent form (part 2) are automatically generated or filled in based on the details entered in the tool. If desired, the data protection information (part 3) can also be generated or filled in automatically on a case-by-case basis.
You can also generate the participant information the Ethiktool without submitting an ethics application. The information required to create the participant information is marked with a PDF symbol in the tool. In addition, information on the type and form of information and consent must be selected. You will receive a PDF document for further use.
