Ziel des SchulBasis-Projekts ist es eine schulbasierte Screening-, Unterstützungs- und Überweisungsstruktur für psychisch belastete Kinder mit Fluchtgeschichte zu entwickeln und zu implementieren. Dafür setzt sich das Projekt SchulBasis aus drei Teilbereichen zusammen. Im ersten Teilprojekt werden psychosoziale Bedarfe und Barrieren in der Inanspruchnahme von Unterstützungsangeboten für Kinder und deren Familien erfasst. Es werden Interviews mit Kindern, deren Sorgeberechtigte und Expert*innen zu zwei Messzeitpunkten (Baseline und Follow-Up nach 6-12 Monaten) durchgeführt. Ziel des zweiten Teilprojekts ist die Etablierung eines Screen-and-Treat-Ansatzes zur Früherkennung psychischer Belastungen und einer gestuften Versorgung der belasteten Kinder. Hier werden Fachkräfte in der Durchführung des Screenings und eines psychosozialen Gruppen-Unterstützungsangebots ausgebildet und begleitet. Die Implementierung der Fortbildungen und Angebote wird im Rahmen von Feasibility-Studien untersucht. Das Ziel des dritten Teilprojekts ist die Stärkung regionaler Netzwerke zur Entwicklung einer lokalen Überweisungsstruktur belasteter Kinder. Im vergangenen Jahr bereiteten wir die Durchführungs- und Erhebungsphase vor. Im Jahr 2025 planen wir die Durchführung der einzelnen Teilprojekte in den Regionen Stadt Bielefeld, Kreis Gütersloh und Kreis Herford.

The aim of the SchulBasis project is to develop and implement a school-based screening, support and referral structure for mentally distressed children with a history of flight. To this end, the SchulBasis project consists of three sub-areas. In the first sub-project, psychosocial needs and barriers in the use of support services for children and their families are recorded. To this end, interviews are conducted with children, their guardians and experts at two measurement points (baseline and follow-up after 6-12 months). The aim of the second sub-project is to establish a screen-and-treat approach for the early detection of psychological distress and graduated care for distressed children. Here, professionals are trained and accompanied in the implementation of the screening and a psychosocial group support program. The implementation of the training and services will be investigated as part of feasibility studies. The aim of the third sub-project is to strengthen regional networks for the development of a local referral structure for troubled children. Last year, we prepared the implementation and survey phase. In 2025, we plan to carry out the individual sub-projects in the regions of the city of Bielefeld, the district of Gütersloh and the district of Herford.
