Mail Policy Message
You are most probably here because your email has been rejected by our mailserver. This page explains reasons and ways to bypass spam and threat protection filtering on your emails in the very unlikely case of false positives.
- Rejection based on the relay IP: The internet address of your computer or server sending mail on your behalf is blacklisted because spam or malware has been sent from it in the past. Please inform the postmaster at your domain (send a mail to postmaster@your-domain-name.xyz). Your postmaster can then clarify the matter with our support to set up a temporary workaround.
In case of a general problem, the deletion of the IP address can be requested.
On the Sophos website you can check for yourself if an IP address was already conspicuous for SPAM. [to the Sophos website...]
- Rejection based on spam probability: Your message matches several features of known spam emails (broken html, many links, embedded pictures ...).
- Rejection due to threat protection: Your message was tested positive for viral code, spyware or other potentially unwanted applications. Please have your computer checked for possible malware. If your are absolutely sure that there is no such infection/your mail does not contain any such code, then contact the BITS-support.
