Information for the AStA [Student Union] secretary's office

The semester ticket initiated by the General Students' Committee (AStA [Student Union]) is valid for seven months at a time and entitles the holder to free use of buses, trains and local trains throughout NRW. A map with the free connections is available at the Infopunkt, at the Student Office, at the ZSB, at moBiel, at the AStA and via the Homepage of Bielefeld University's Transport Group.

Reimbursement of the semester ticket fee

Students who have a severely disabled ID card with the feature G and are therefore allowed to use local public transport free of charge due to a disability (§§145, 146 SGB IX) can have part of the semester fee reimbursed.

The application must be submitted in full to the AStA [Student Union] of Bielefeld University by the end of the application semester.
