Course start until winter semester 2023/24

Please note! This information only applies to students who started their BA or M.Ed. degree programme Integrated Studies for Primary Education ("Sachunterricht") up to and including the winter semester 2023/24. Information for students who have started their BA or M.Ed. degree programme from the summer semester 2024 onwards can be found on the BiSEd website for Integrated Studies for Primary Education ("Sachunterricht").

The degree programme in Integrated Studies for Primary Education ("Sachunterricht") was reformed for the summer semester 2024.

Students who started their BA degree programme in Integrated Studies for Primary Education ("Sachunterricht") up to and including winter semester 2023/24 can complete their BA degree programme by the end of summer semester 2027 in accordance with the 2016 subject-specific regulations (FsB) (PDF). When transferring to the M. Ed. from the summer semester 2024, the new subject-specific regulations 2024 (PDF) apply to the M. Ed. programme.

Students who started their M.Ed. degree programme in Integrated Studies for Primary Education ("Sachunterricht") from the winter semester 2016/17 can complete their studies by the end of the summer semester 2026 in accordance with the subject-specific regulations 2016 (PDF). Further details on these study programme variants can be found on the study information page for Integrated Studies for Primary Education ("Sachunterricht") in accordance with the FsB 2016.

After the deadlines mentioned, a change to the subject-specific regulations 2024 for the BA (PDF) or to the subject-specific regulations 2024 for the M. Ed. (PDF) is required. A degree according to the FsB 2016 is no longer possible from this point onwards. Students must actively apply to the BiSEd Examination Office for a change of degree programme; there is no automatic change. Depending on the progress of the degree programme, it may be necessary to apply for recognition of academic achievements. Information on this can be obtained from the BiSEd Examination Office.
