Funded projects
Here you can view the projects that have received funding in recent years.
Since 2017, Bielefeld University has been promoting ideas and examples of good practice in the field of study and teaching through its Quality Fund for Teaching. In particular, the fund is intended to support the piloting of smaller-scale innovations.
Teaching staff are regularly given the opportunity to submit applications for funding under the Teaching Quality Fund.
Call for Proposals 2026
Submission deadline: 4 October
In this year’s round, the call for proposals is open-ended in terms of subject matter. In addition, there is a special call focusing on the theme of the internationalisation of teaching. Funding may be sought for teaching-related innovations.
Key information at a glance:
- Funding amount for individual projects: €5,000 over the course of one semester or up to €10,000 for two semesters
- All teaching staff at Bielefeld University with a teaching load of at least 4 SWS are eligible to apply
- It is strongly recommended that you seek advice before submitting your application
- Submission deadline: 4 October 2026
