Our research activities focus on the impacts of epidemiologic and demographic change on health care and nursing.
The focus of our research includes issues such as needs-based and user-oriented care, participation in care (patient, family and community participation, self-management support), health literacy, patient information and counseling, health promotion in the context of chronic diseases, primary health care concepts in international comparison, new concepts and models of primary health and long-term care, integrated care and continuity of care, regionally differentiated care, Advanced Practice Nursing (APN).
