Discover the university! - Visiting day for pupils
The teutolabs at Bielefeld University offer young researchers the opportunity to experience research up close. The hands-on and experimental laboratories in the fields of biology, biotechnology, chemistry, mathematics, physics and robotics promote the understanding and interest of school pupils in the STEM subjects. Every year, more than 25,000 school pupils visit the teutolabs and the associated network partners.
The school pupils' degree programme allows talented pupils from secondary schools, secondary modern schools, comprehensive schools, vocational colleges, grammar schools and evening classes to attend lectures in parallel to their school lessons.
On the nationwide Girls' Day, Bielefeld University offers girls and young women the opportunity to familiarise themselves with training professions at the university every year.
Discover university! This modular study orientation programme provides school pupils and high school graduates with everything they need to know about studying at university.
The mission is as valid today as it was 50 years ago. The Bielefeld Laborschule and the Oberstufen-Kolleg are constantly experimenting and researching how teaching and good learning can succeed. The two experimental schools of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia have influenced and changed the school landscape with their work.
