Funding and Calls for Proposals for Good Teaching
Bielefeld University supports and promotes good teaching in various ways: Every year students award excellent teachers with the Karl Peter Grotemeyer Prize for outstanding achievement and personal commitment in teaching. The ‘Qualitätsfonds für die Lehre’ (Teaching enhancement fund) supports innovative teaching projects. The DigiFellow provides individual funding to projects with innovative approaches to digital university teaching. The Curriculum 4.0.NRW call for proposals, which aims were to improve degree programmes and their curricula in meeting the requirements of digitization in studies and work was discontinued in 2022 and will not be advertised again.
